 You know, *part* of me screams "Elaborate 'April Fools' prank", (and , if so, 'Well played, KI!), but I'm suspicious by nature, and a bit of a theorycrafter, and I just can't dismiss this out-of-hand.

A lot of you may be too young to remember the 'Pet Rock' fad of the 1970's. That same 'foolish' idea made Gary Dahl a millionaire, overnight.

The pet rock sold for $3.95 and estimates state Dahl sold over 5 million of his pet rocks

 

KI's Pet Rock is a Crowns purchase, and has stats, and more importantly: GROWTH. Herein lies my suspicion. There's just *too much* effort, even for an epic April Fool's joke. I'm gonna wager these rocks aren't "Fool's Gold". I'm wagering 2900 Crowns they aren't, at least. How much is $3.95 in Crowns?
I may be a fool, but I'm definitely going to get one. I honestly believe there's something more going on here, and the ones who dismiss it as "a joke" and miss out may, ultimately, be the ones who are fooled.

If nothing else, he's kinda adorable...for a rock.
